neat

I could see this playing on some level in super smash bros. i really like the instrumentation! what program did you use to make it? i love the software instruments, keep up the great work!

dbz-dude responds:

i use edirol.

lol, nice name and an awesome song!

I really really enjoy the guitar parts. the drumming goes with it really well also! I really like it, i could see it playing when this bamf character walks out onto some playing field xD

on to something!

I like it alot, but it could use a few tune ups. There are alot of parts where the notes rub in the beginning. I love the new kind of tune around 1:10, it's really neat. I can see a middle school band playing it lol

okay...didn't do it for me

This song is pretty good for a song you made in one day i guess, but it just got boring and repetative after the first thirty seconds. maybe work on making a different part of the song to fuse it with. i could see it as a menu for a game or something, but as a song? didn't do it for me, add in a refrain or something

gamefan2008 responds:

it was meant for a game i was working on before my old comp crashed, this was an one hour project so my feelings aren't hurt
Thanks for reviewing

wow!

This is really good!! i loved the piano intro at the beginning. it sounds like you used FL, ? I'm still an aspiring artist, and need to work on my music form, could you give me some advice? how do you usually form your songs?

Zeviron responds:

Aha thanks for the review...
I do use Fl Studio, I love it XD
The advice that i could give to you is to form a song as a story, so it has a beginning middle and an end (sounds kind of dumb)

Like in a movie you start of slow introduce characters(instruments)
you lay the plot of the story out(bass line)

Then there's a middle were the song is into the swing of things, introducing the main them of it, which is the melody.

then yeah...

I don't really have people asking me for advice tbh, so I can't really give a structured answer, But I'll just say to keep at it.

In the beginning you might suck. But with perseverance and prctise you'll get into your own groove and style. That's pretty much all I've got aha XD

Well thanks for your review and for your questions :D

pretty sick, could be better

this song is pretty intense, but i think it's a little repetative and needs more melody. of course, most electronica songs are like that, so, speaking terms of electronica, this is amazing, but for my own taste, i'll stick with what i said above. keep makin songs!

Qshunt responds:

its the nature of this particular type of music :P but thanks for the review :)

could see this in a soundtrack

could work a little on the beggining with just the synth, but i loved the percussion and timpani, it really goes together well. make an extended version dude

thirstycanvas responds:

Thank you! I appreciate your comments. Are you saying that you want me to build the intro with the synth for longer or that you don't like the synth?

great!

sounds like something strait out of captain falcon!

interesting

I've got a song that i made like this one, a bit more ominous, yet like it, and it is by far one of the funnest song styles to make. however, you need to up your drums, down the high hat, and make a solo or two in it. overall, it's pretty awesome ;)

joshuaskillsrobles responds:

Thanks.

easy on the ears, relaxing

It's nice to listen to, and it sounds as though you put alot of work into this one. i'd just like to hear more of it, and a bit more excitement from it, maybe a solo or two, or a more complex drumbeat. do that and it will be the bamfest song ever!!
